Gears Mandala coloring page – Free Printable
I am thrilled to be partnering with Smucker’s Uncrustables to bring you this free printable gears mandala coloring page for adults! Sometimes as moms, we neglect to take care of ourselves and our needs. That’s why so many moms have taken on adult coloring, and that’s why I love bringing you printable pages.
As a millennial mom, I find that I am always on the go and busy. I need to multitask a lot – between caring for children, for my house, and my work-at-home job. It’s easy to forget about me.
And even when I AM taking care of me, I barely get in that shower, that brisk walk, that lunch. Never mind the me time – it just doesn’t happen.
Adult coloring has been providing many moms with that me-time. Here are my best tips to make it happen:
- Give it importance: We tend to put the me-time as the last thing on this list, but it shouldn’t be! Keeping your kids’ mom happy is very important to their upbringing.
- Go simpler: you don’t need to color the most complex page out there for it to be mature and relaxing. Grab a simpler page, do a basic coloring. It feels good!
- Simplify your other tasks: Social media might make you think that you need to create cutesy lunches and homemade meals to be a good mom. You need to create a happy, wholesome environment for your child to be a good mom. That’s one reason I love Smucker’s Uncrustables. I just pop it out of the freezer. I defrost it. I can take care of myself better by simplifying my child’s lunch, and make me-time more doable.
- Turn it into something for the kids: Color. Cut out. Decoupage onto a plain school supplies box. You now have a custom mom-made lunch box for your child! So all the time you were coloring, you can pretend you were being Pinterest mom, making a cool DIY for your child. Throw the Uncrustables in, and your child will have a home-made mommy-time lunch box while you make the tasks you don’t like as much easier.
Yep, Smucker’s Uncrustables are the PB&J that you just pull out of the freezer, defrost, and eat! M’s favorite part (and secretly mine too) is the fact that there’s no crust.
It’s what I ate to get me through drawing this gears mandala coloring page, and it’s what I eat to give me time to color. It’s my go-to after school snack for M. Who said supermom needs to serve home-baked cookies and milk? M is thrilled every time I give him Uncrustables.
Smucker’s Uncrustables also help me manage the whole work-at-home mom life. So many Millennials are challenged by having to be equal breadwinners while still taking care of home and family, and finding simple solutions like this keeps me going and doing the things I need to do and love to do.
I made this gears mandala coloring page for adults much simpler than usual. I want you to have the time to color it and finish it, and feel good. If you have more time, you can go ahead and add more detail like I did. (No, I didn’t have time, but I wanted to show you…)
